Le projet SPHAND

Self-sensing Piezoelectric for the augmentation of interaction level of a robotic hand
Pitch
SPHAND proposes a new mechatronic device to increase the perception and action capability of robotic hand during complex shaped and deformable object manipulation. Devoted to human-robotic collaboration, it will provide information that are essential to ensure specified performances, safety and ergonomy. The approach consists in using piezoelectric self-sensing approach.
Objectifs
- The target of this SPHAND project is the study and development of an innovative mechatronic device devoted to increase the perception and action level of robotic platform during Human-Robotic-Collaboration while co-manipulating complex shaped and deformable objects. To this, the project consists in developping a smart structure that is based on piezoelectric actuation and sensing simultaneously (called self-sensing) and that can be embedded onto robotic hand to increase the capacity of the latter to interact with a manipulated object.
Résultats attendus
